Honeymoon Adventure Number 5: Bahamas

Carnival Liberty Port 1: Halfmoon Cay in the Bahamas
"I wish I could stay here Forever"

Halfmoon Cay was stunning. The sun was out, the sand was so soft that it felt like flour under our feet, entertainment everywhere,  there were shore excursions galore, picking which ones was the hardest part! True Paradise!

Three Cruise Lines share ownership of the islands! They even fed us a fabulous bbq lunch!

Shore Excursion: Parasailing

I was terrified but excited to try out parasailing. It was sooo much fun, you really feel as if you are simply floating behind the boat and dont really feel the speed at all. The views were amazing and I wish   we had the foresight to take a camera up with us, however we left the camera with the folks on the boat so they could take pictures of us!

In the boat...

Wayyy Up high!

The boat drive was on a mission to dip everyone's feet in the water

Hey Look its us!

That was AWESOME! Can't wait to do it again someday!

We're a Long way from Home!

THe Sun was wonderful, but Paul got a sunburn!

They had cold water mist stations around the Island, which Paul enjoyed!

I loved the buildings in the Bahamas, so tropical feeling!

In the afternoon we with swimming with stingrays, unfortunately we don't have waterproof cameras so  have no pictures, but that was quite an experience as well. I didn't know that stingrays were covered in some sort of protective mucus so they are slimy as they swim past you and brush up against your legs. Paul got to feed them squid and we got to see and hold live conch's, sea stars and sea cucumbers as well! The following 2 pictures are taken at Half Moon Cay, just by someone else!

Tired and too much sun...

Must be time to return to the boat....
