Skagit Valley: Ross Lake

 
We went camping with some friends to Ross Lake. It was sooooo pretty. Apparently there is only water on the canadian side in the summer, and we made sure to enjoy it! It was a wonderful weekend (even with a few million misquitos around!)
 








The Border is marked with just a small white marker and a sign on the road....how strange when you consider how much money and effort is poured into border control every year...

Memorial: Helen King

This August her memorial was held. It was very touching as the spring has been soo busy to take some time to hit pause and reflect on her life and all she did for those around her. Here are a few pictures:

Canoe Trip: Indian Arm

So when I first met my dear husband, I went up the indian arm with some other friends without him. Since then He has commented on how he wants to do the trip. So with a free weekend, and our canoe, we decided to make it happen!
