Honeymoon Adventure Number 1: A road trip

While we don't have the wedding pictures back yet...we do have some Honeymoon pictures. Here you get the first look at the first photos (pre-alterations even!) from the event!

Day one: Penticton
We stayed at the Ramada and spent our first day as husband and wife with the family, after a pancake breakfast and getting all the post-wedding stuff figured out we went back to the hotel and just hung out. We had an amazing room with a HUGE spa tub and after such a busy weekend it was nice to just have a quiet evening. The highlight of the evening, a SUPER NINTENDO burger (so who cares that it actually is called the super something else burger...Paul read it as supernintendo and its a much better name) delivered via room-service.

Paul seeing who's facebook'd about us yet

Day 2: Penticton - Wenachee WA
Paul's car had been making funny noises, and we knew there were some issues needing to be fixed, and wanted to get it fixed before we went on a trip in it...little did we know it would be an expensive job and a few hours of waiting around Penticton before we could get going!

By the time we did get going Paul was pretty pooped..so he slept while I drove to the states. At the Border we had forgotten that we still had a fruit basket in the car (we had meant to leave it with relatives but had forgotten about it. So they kindly pulled us over and made us wait around until they went through our fruit basket and took everything out but the apples.

That afternoon we were getting hungry so we pulled over to find something to eat in the town of Brewster and found a piece of Mexico! I was so excited by the fact that all the signs on the buildings were all in Spanish often with no English attached! We had some really good Mexican food  at a place called Campero's and went for a walk to stretch the legs.

We found this on our walk!

Day 3: Wenachee - Seattle
After leaving Wenachee <which is the Apple Capitol of the world> behind, we made our way to seattle, but to get there had to drive over the mountains. After a very scenic drive we arrived in Seattle...it was time to head to the airport for our overnight flight.

Hotel in Wenachee

Had to take a picture for our Hedgehog (Skookum)
